Throughout the summer the Salida School District board has held meetings, taken community opinion and health official’s input to make the safest choice for the return of classes in the fall. As previously reported by Ark Valley Voice, the board voted to open in the “green” stage.

The Council will also hear a report that summarizes the findings of the City’s first Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory which was conducted in 2018. This is the first step towards developing a plan to reduce emissions.

Recommendations on improving the accuracy of future inventories and ways to reduce emissions will be provided.

The meeting will be held via GoToMeeting. To pre-register click here.
