Salida City Council will hold a regularly scheduled work session at 6 p.m. today (Monday, April 2) at Council Chambers in the Touber Building, 448 E. First St., Salida.
The agenda includes a joint session with the Salida Planning Commission regarding Jim Treat’s requested annexation of approximately 45 acres between county roads 140 and 120, west of the Angel View project.
Packet materials indicate the overall plan for development for the entire site has not been determined; however, immediate plans include construction of an assisted living facility on the northern 8.8 acres adjacent to C.R. 140.
The next agenda item is Salida City Council goals, which council has discussed previously, followed by marijuana licensing, which focuses on the question of whether city council will change city ordinances to allow a marijuana retail license to be transferred.
