The Salida Community Awards are fast approaching. This is an opportunity for the Salida community to show their appreciation to those who they believe make a big difference in this community. The Salida Chamber of Commerce will be accepting nominations submitted up to 5 p.m. on Dec. 27.

Man and/or Woman of The Year, From the Heart Awards, are given to recognize a citizen’s generosity of spirit and volunteerism.
The Cornerstone Award recognizes a person providing long-term community support and dedication.
The Chamber asks that nominations either be dropped off at the Chamber or mailed, faxed (or scanned then emailed), prior to the deadline.
The event honoring those who were nominated is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at the SteamPlant.
