At 10 a.m. on February 3, the Salida Community Center will host a food distribution. The Community Center will be handling The Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) as administered by Care and Share based in Colorado Springs. TEFAP is a federal program that provides people living on a low income with extra food each month at no cost.

Due to COVID-19. no sign-in is required. Volunteers will ask for a name, address and the number of people in the household.

With a large number of people out of work due to COVID-19 the organizers urge community members to take advantage of this food program. Click here to view income eligibility.
