As of 8:00 p.m. Nov. 2, the early results are in for the 2021 Salida Coordinated Elections. Early results  for Salida City Council candidates are the following:

  • City of Salida Mayor Dan Shore: 100 percent with 1,533 votes
  • City of Salida Council Ward 1 Dominique Naccarato: 100 percent with 563 votes
  • City of Salida Council Ward 2 Justin Critelli: 100 percent with 489 votes
  • City of Salida Ward 3 Adam Martinez: 24.13 percent with 124 votes
  • City of Salida Ward 3 Harald Kasper: 75.87 percent with 393 votes

Early results for Salida Board of Education Candidates are the following:

  • Board of Education District 1 Carrie Coscarella-Mattix: 100 percent with 2,360 votes
  • Board of Education District 2 Abby Jefferson: 34.19 percent with 1,203 votes
  • Board of Education District 2 Jodi Breckenridge Petit: 65.81 percent with 2,316 votes
  • Board of Education District 3 Mandy Paschall: 100 percent with 2,572 votes
  • Board of Education District 4 Joseph Smith: 66.90 percent with 2,300 votes
  • Board of Education District 4 Catherine Rich: 33.10 percent with 1,138 votes
  • Board of Education Director Jeannie Peters: 100 percent with 2,437 votes

Editor’s Note: These are not final results. The Chaffee County Clerk and Recorders Office is still awaiting the remainder of the ballots from Buena Vista voting sites, which will be processed as soon as they arrive. Unofficial election results including those ballots will not be available until after 9:00 p.m. Nov. 2, or later depending upon how processing proceeds.
