After the wild success of the 2021 Valley Visions Show, the Salida Council for the Arts will again host Valley Visions at the Salida SteamPlant Ballroom. Organizers have issued a call for entries to the show, with submissions due by March 31.
This year’s dates have been adjusted to the spring events season to take advantage of a time when fewer shows are on the calendar: April 14-17, 2022 at Salida SteamPlant Ballroom. The Valley Visions show will be up for one weekend only.

Salida Council for the Arts Scholarships
Applications are now being accepted for the Salida Council for the Arts Scholarships. Applications are due April 4 and information is available here.
This year’s awards have been increased to $1,000. Two scholarships will be awarded: one given to a student in the visual arts and one awarded to a performing arts student.
The Salida Council for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax ID# 43-1990391. Our mission is to enrich the cultural life of our community by nurturing and supporting the arts; to increase the community’s awareness of and appreciation for the arts; to promote and encourage arts education; and to serve as the liaison between the arts, business, government, and educational institutions.
