Salida Council for the Arts’ October creative mixer is set for 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 12 at the Paquette Gallery at the SteamPlant (220 West Sackett Avenue) in Salida.
The featured exhibit is Patricia Aguilar’s solo show “Divas.” The mixer will also have live music by local artist and musician Stephen Smalzel.

The event is free and open to the public with no tickets required for attendance. The mixer will be held on the outside patio as long as the weather remains clear.
There will be special pricing on museum-glass framed pieces from this collection during the mixer. Beverages and a cash bar will be available to attendees.
Divas, Queens, and Ladies are on display in the gallery. The public is invited to join this opening reception to explore the creative world of the La Feminine. Works showcase ink, pencil and acrylic lead in this one-time collection inspired by confident, creative, and powerful women. The pieces will be on display and for purchase from October 4 through October 31.
