The Salida City Council will hold their regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 in the Touber Building. Among the agenda items will be second readings and public hearings for Ordinance 2019-10, addressing amendments made to Chapters 2 and 16 of the Salida Municipal Code regarding the powers and duties of the Historic Preservation Commission. The session will also address the process for approval of minor and major historic activity.

Also on the agenda is a discussion of an ordinance regards an amendment to the Salida Municipal Code regarding Charter Franchise Agreement.

New business items for the Salida Council will entail conversation around a resolution to adopt a trust agreement for the Colorado Firefighter Heart and Cancer Benefits and other actions in connection alongside the agreement.

Lastly, in new business, the Salida Council will consider a Professional Services Agreement to complete the Downtown Parking Study.
