The Salida City Clerk’s Office is extending office hours leading up to the Sept. 25 special election and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to accept ballots.

Ballots can be dropped off at these times at the City Clerk’s Office in the Touber Building at 448 E. First St., Suite 112 in Salida.

On election day, Sept. 25, ballots can be dropped off from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Council Chambers, Room 190 in the Touber Building. Ballots may also be mailed but must be received no later than Sept. 25.

All other city business will need to be conducted during regular office hours, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
