Salida Holiday Parade to Return for 2021

Light Up Salida: Holiday Parade is set to return in 2021.

Celebration is in order — Salida’s traditional holiday event will be held the day after Thanksgiving on November 26. The parade will start on Fifth Street and continue down F Street to Sackett Street.

Santa will make an appearance on the Salida Fire Department’s fire truck stopping at the intersection of Second and F Street where he will light “S” Mountain from the truck.

To meet COVID-19 pandemic protocols, Santa will not be meeting with families individually in Holiday Park. More details on the event to come soon.
