The  4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. event is for youths ages 17 and younger and will feature crafts, a healing circle, snacks, and community. A separate adult session has been arranged for 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

According to local PfCA members, the Chaffee County LGBTQ+ Community has strong ties to Club Q and many locals frequented Club Q and knew the staff well. Others had friends and community members who found Club Q to be their safe haven; a sense of safety that has been shattered.

“The local LGBTQ+ community is in need of a space to begin to heal together,” said PfCA Policy and Programming leader Jimmy Sellers.  “Come and talk, make something with your hands, or just be in community with those who understand you.”
