Salida Middle School has set a date for a drive-through pick up for personal items left in student’s lockers when in-person classes were abruptly canceled due to the coronavirus known as COVID-19. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, Salida Middle School staff will remove contents from lockers into plastic bags for students to safely pick up. Any textbooks or library books will be returned to the school by the staff.

To practice social distancing, Salida Middle Schools asks that parents bring the bare minimum of people with them. All people need to stay in their vehicles during the pick-up process.

The Middle school asks that students contact Mr. Crane at scrane@sallidaschools.org so they can plan arrivals in advance and work as effectively as possible.

While securing personal items is important, the school environment is built on personal relationships. The staff and teachers of  Salida Middle School say they want to remind students that they are missed, and the staff looks forward to getting back into classrooms when it is safe to do so.

Those with any questions are directed to contact Principal Will Wooddell at 719-530-5304 or wwooddell@salidaschools.org.
