Salida Mountain Trails (SMT) will host its annual member party and fundraiser from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15 at the Fun Street Family Arcade located at 243 F Street in Salida. The event is free to SMT members and guests.
If its true that “everyone loves a party”, then SMT has been hosting great ones for years.
Attendees will enjoy food from Boathouse Cantina and Pizza Rio, plus drinks from Soulcraft Brewing. They’ll also get a sneak preview at some big, new and exciting trail projects SMT is working on that will take Salida’s trails to the next level.
In addition to supporting a great cause, more than $15,000 in great prizes, including a brand new bike, a weekend vacation in Bentonville, Arkansas (home of Crystal Bridges contemporary American art museum and great hiking/biking trails), a Monarch Mountain season pass, and much more. Additional auction items span categories including food, clothing, bike parts/gear, running gear, experiences, health/wellness.
“This event is the highlight of SMT’s year,” said Jon Terbush, Executive Director of Salida Mountain Trails. “It’s a chance to connect with our trail-loving community, and to raise funds to plan, build and maintain trails around Salida. I hope to see a full house Saturday night!”
