The third public gathering for the Salida Parks, Recreation, Open Space & Trails (PROST) Master Plan is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 19.
Jamie Sabbach walks Salida Community Members through Master Plan’s second session
The drop-in open house will be held in the SteamPlant Annex and is focused on gathering community feedback about the concept plans for Centennial and Marvin Parks.
In the second community meeting, community members provided feedback for the two parks to determine the amenities that were of interest to the community. The first gathering was focused on gaining a sense of what the community found important for the Master Plan.
Parks and Recreation Director Mike ‘Diesel’ Post and Project Managers Chris Hice, Senior Project Manager at Kimley-Horn and Jamie Sabbach, President & CEO of 110 Percent will take community input into consideration for the next phases of the plan’s development.
