If COVID-19 taught us nothing else, it shows us that our first responders are critical members in the community and the cornerstones of our cities. To show their gratitude, Salida Pharmacy and Fountain will be giving first responders a free scoop of ice cream from July 12 to July 18.
They offer their sincerest thanks to all our first responders. First responders simply need to show their ID to receive their free scoop. July is also national Ice Cream month and community members are encouraged to celebrate while also supporting local business.
The soda fountain is currently open 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
