Salida Public Works along with the Parks and Recreation Department are set to begin improvements under the F Street bridge and adjacent to the Arkansas Riverwalk in Salida, in the vicinity of the bridge. These improvements will enhance the stormwater management by filtering sediment and rerouting flow to reduce sediment and ice build-up under the bridge.
The City anticipates that the majority of the work will be done from February to mid-March. During this time pedestrians will be temporarily detoured. For any park related questions contact Parks and Recreation at 719-539-6738. For any street related questions, contact Public Works at 719-539-6257.
