The Salida School District Board will meet for a Sept. 8 work session/executive session at 4 p.m. followed by its regular meeting at 6 p.m. The board will hear public comment about a proposal for curriculum and policy changes by Student Alumni. To sign up for public comment, email the board secretary at bcoscarella@salidaschools.org prior to the start of the meeting.

The agenda items will include Colorado Mountain College’s credit policy and how it relates to the Salida School district. The board will also discuss the Colorado Association of School Boards delegation assembly and the registration for the event. Last, the board will get a financial update.

The board will vote to approve policies recommended by the Colorado Association of School Boards which includes policies in relation to school reopening, Title IX changes, and state legislative changes.
