The Salida School District Board of Education will gather for their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 11, at 6 p.m., following a 4 p.m. work session in the Kesner Building. Key agenda items include the salary schedule and pay increases.
A main topic of discussion will be follow up on Jim Coscarella’s request to the board back on March 12 for coach and sponsor pay increases. Coscarella had requested $93,000 for stipends with another $7,000 in additional funding, bringing the total to $100,000.
Further discussion will be had during the first reading of an updated salary schedule for five different categories, one of which is the request raised by Coscarella. It’s titled “Extra Duty Coaching Compensation”. Others include: “Instructional Staff Contracts/Compensation/Salary Schedule”, “Administrator and Manager Salary Schedule”, “Special Service Providers Salary Schedule” and “Classified Salary Schedule”.
