The Salida School District (SSD) has announced that it is making several location changes for its administrative and instruction buildings, as it prepares for the fall semester. The adjustments will also make room for the new Colorado Mountain College (CMC) campus.
The SSD has relocated its administrative office to 627 Oak Street, and staff are quickly settling into the new space. The district’s building and grounds team moved furniture and equipment to the new location. The IT team has been hard at work setting up computers, phones, and printers so that business will continue without any interruption. All other contact information including phone extensions and email addresses will remain the same.
The building at 627 Oak Street will also now become the new home to the Crest Academy starting for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Kesner Building at 349 East Ninth Street (previously the home of the SSD administrative team), is the new CMC campus home. The district says that the new lease arrangement with CMC, which includes the district administration location change, will improve student programming space and improve the school district’s financial base.
