From 8-8:30 p.m. every Tuesday night, beginning tonight, and all during the month of April, Salida High School will light up Spartan Stadium.

“The movement seeks to provide a beacon of hope for students during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has closed schools and put the season on hold,” said Activities Director, Jim Coscarella.

School districts all over the state are lighting their stadiums as a reminder to students that their students are still in their hearts and minds during this difficult time. Facilities will continue to remain closed, as the community continues to practice social distancing and the Stay At Home order. Turning on the lights is a way to remind the community that Spartan Pride shines on.
