The Salida School District will host an open meeting for public input on the current Facility Use Policies, which includes facility fees, at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 in the Kesner Board Room, 349 East 9th St. in Salida.

The Salida School District has extended an invitation to interested parties asking them to attend the open meeting where questions will be addressed, information shared, and alternatives brainstormed.

In January, the Salida School District heard from numerous concerned coaches, parents, athletes and adult users of the facilities about the financial implications that come with raising the fees for Salida School’s facility use. The main purpose of the open meeting is for the district to listen and better understand public perceptions of these facility users.

Those who cannot make the meeting, but would still like to contribute input, are asked by the Salida School District to please email Facilities Use Director Brandy Coscarella at with comments by Thursday, Feb. 6.
