The grass may not yet be green, and the temperatures are still chilly at night, but the Salida spring high school sports schedule is underway.

The Salida Spartans are hosting a track meet this weekend, Saturday, April 2, and are still looking for volunteers to help support the event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Those who can volunteer should reach out to Cassie Luttrell at cluttrell@salidaschools.org or 719-530-5406. Volunteers should meet in the SHS commons at 8:00 a.m.
