From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on July 13, Vitalant will host the Salida Community Blood Drive at the SteamPlant, located at 220 West Sackett Avenue. All blood donations are being tested for COVID-19 antibodies. There is a critical need nationwide for all blood types.
In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. The needs cross the spectrum of age, sex, and circumstance: it could be a little girl in the ICU, a mother with Stage 3 leukemia, or a car accident victim.
