Salida Utilities recognizes Utility Due Date error, Resolution 2020-14 still in effect

The City of Salida has announced that Salida Sewer and water bills posted on Thursday, April 30 are due on May 20, not April 27.

Due to a technical error, statements incorrectly list April 27 as the due date. Utility bills for March 24 to April 24 are covered under this billing.

Resolution 2020-14 is still in effect, which suspends late fees and delinquent charges to provide financial relief brought on by the coronavirus known as COVID-19.

Community members unable to pay their water and water waste bills due to the pandemic are eligible to halt the City’s right to turn off the water for non-payment. Salidans are encouraged to continue to practice healthy handwashing and sanitation.
