Salida Utilities customers will receive a credit for $24.80 on their March 2018 utility bill.
Information about the credit was posted on the city of Salida website Wednesday, March 28. Salida Utilities’ 2015 revenue was higher than allowed by Colorado’s Taxpayer Bill of Rights, better known as TABOR.
The excess revenue, $84,101, will be refunded to Salida residents through the credit on the March utility bill. This is a one-time credit.
