The 15th Annual Run Through Time trail marathon, half marathon, and two-mile fun run will take place on Saturday, March 14. The events will take place on the Arkansas Hills Trails System and the surrounding dirt and jeep roads in Salida.  The Run Through Time is the largest single day running event in Salida, a spring celebration of Colorado’s running community, and a major annual fundraiser for Salida Mountain Trails.

While all trails and roads will remain open during this event, the Chaffee Running Club asks that the public know that they will be very busy on race day between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with roughly 475 runners out on the course.

Trails and roads impacted by the Run Through Time include Frontside; Lil’ Rattler; Backbone; North Backbone; Cottonwood; lower Uncle Nazty; Tenderfoot; Upper Sand Dunes; Prospector; CR 175; CR 173; FR 181; and CR 177.

While the half marathon is sold out, there are still spots open in the marathon and two-mile fun run.  Additionally, a few more volunteers are still needed.

The Chaffee Running Club says spectators are also very welcome and encouraged out on the trails!  The Chaffee Running Club encourages those looking for more information to visit chaffeerunning.org, or email Kristy Falcon at rttsalida@gmail.com.
