The Salida Parks, Recreation, Open Space & Trails Board (PROST Board) handles a major job for the city; serving as a link between the City Council, city staff, and the community.
The Board meets with Parks & Recreation staff leaders at least once a month, collaborating to evaluate and prioritize parks, trails, recreation, and open space projects. The three new members of the Board are Jon Terbush, Jess Smith, and Stacy Falk.
Continuing to serve on the PROST Board are Jessica Downing, Connor Maher, Rob White, and Kristy Falcon. The city announcement regarding the new additions to the board reminds residents of the huge thank you owed to these community members for volunteering their time to serve on the Board and to work with city staff to help our Parks and Recreation Department best serve the community.
