Referred to as a “community for entrepreneurial ecosystem builders to connect, learn, and grow,” the online resource is virtual. A visit to the site reveals that it describes itself as a community for leaders, feeders, and instigators in startup communities around the world. It is that local-to-global aspect of the network which is considered unique. The Startup Communities is a small business support atmosphere, comprised of individuals dedicated to discussing and developing communities to foster startups.

According SBDC Director Jamie Billesbach, it takes less than a minute to join this business community where “together we’re sharing our stories, experiences, and ideas.”
