A new traveling art exhibition opportunity is available to the artists of Gunnison, Salida, and Buena Vista. The exhibit planned to move across Southern Colorado has just announced a call for local artists to submit their works for consideration.
Artists are invited to enter their art in this new exhibition for the chance to display their work across Southern Colorado during July and August. But time is short: the entry deadline is July 1, 2022.
Twenty-five artists from each community will be selected to come together to create one beautiful exhibition that will travel to Gunnison, Salida, and Buena Vista.
The theme of the traveling exhibit is “Wilds Grow Freely”. Entry is open to all on a first come – first serve basis.
Wall art in any media can be submitted and artwork must be delivered and packaged for shipment so that it can be unwrapped and then wrapped back up again after each show location. All artwork must be original and available for sale.
Online entry is open now, and the final deadline for online show entry is July 1, 2022.
Entry fee is only $15 dollars per entry, and the organizers say this is an incredible opportunity to expand artists’ audience reach.
