More Americans are unemployed now than at any time since the Great Depression.
The U.S. just lost 20 million jobs, bringing the country’s unemployment rate to 14.7 percent. It is the fourth week in a row of devastating job losses. The loss of jobs was self-inflicted: Our nation shut down economic activity to save us from the coronavirus known as COVID-19.
