Along with our highly-effective local business support organizations, such as the Salida and Buena Vista Chambers of Commerce, the Salida Business Alliance, the Economic Development Corporation, we now add another social media organization, Alignable, The Small Business Network.
As part of the support structure that has held local businesses together during the COVID-19 pandemic, Alignable has offered practical support and encouragement. This week, through its ability to conduct member surveys, it announced its first Salida’s 2021 Local Business Person Of The Year.
“After sorting through more than 86,000 votes & testimonials from our members, we’re delighted to unveil the local winners of the most popular (and competitive) contest we’ve ever had. All winners were singled out for going above and beyond to help peers and their communities power through the COVID Era,” wrote Alignable organizers. “In Salida, David Kisiel, owner of The Apple Doctor, is the 2021 Local Business Person of the Year.”
