The Comanche Theater in Buena Vista will be showing the classic adventure comedy, the Goonies on July 14 and July 15. Gates open at 8:00 p.m. and the film will begin at approximately 8:55 p.m.
For those who have yet to have seen it, the 1985 classic film is about a group of young misfits called The Goonies who discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate’s long-lost treasure. The film is rated PG.

The cost of tickets are as follows:
- Adults are 10 dollars
- Children 12 and under are five dollars
- Kids under 5 are free
To help stop the spread of germs, moviegoers are asked to try to bring the exact change. The sound is by FM Radio so car radios or portable radios can be used. Concessions are available with outside window pick up only.
Pets are allowed, but must be well behaved and remain in the vehicle. Movie will play rain or shine.
Movie goers are asked to continue to follow current Chaffee County Public Health Recommendations. If sick, they ask you to stay home, to practice social distancing and sanitary precautions.
