A “Therapy Dog Program: Meet and Greet” organized by Full Circle Restorative Justice (FCRJ) is set for 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. November 18, in the Tenderfoot meeting room at the Touber Building, 448 East First Street in Salida. Those interested in restorative justice and wanting to learn more about how to form a therapy dog team are encouraged to come to the event and get the details.

Laura Pintane and Jan Toniazzo with Therapy Dogs of Chaffee County will share information about the therapy dog evaluation and certification process for new volunteers of Full Circle Restorative Justice.

Current therapy dog teams (including therapy dogs) along with FCRJ volunteers and staff will be available to answer questions and provide additional information about this important and meaningful support service.

The event is free. Refreshments will be provided. The invitation to the public is to come meet the therapy dogs, learn their healing an dhelpoing role, and see what FCRJ is about.
