The Salida Circus will be presenting its summer circus camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday, August 5- 9, at 646 Holman Ave.
This year, in addition to its regular staff of tutors, Salida Circus will be hosting guest instructor Joey Holt from the Cincinnati Circus School. 17 year-old Joey will bring his unique skills in magic, juggling, stilt-walking and silks to camp.
Salida Circus and the Cincinnati Circus School are both members of the American Youth Circus Organization, sharing the same mission of community building through circus arts.
There are a still a few spaces available in the Salida Circus summer camp, which is sponsored in part by Monarch Community Outreach. The camp will offer training in aerial, parkour, acrobatics, juggling, Chinese pole and unicycle to children five and older.
