Starting at 7:00 p.m. on March 6, Shakespeare in the Park will present Bad Dates, a single performance online only play. The event will be hosted at the SteamPlant and broadcast via the event center.

The play is about a single mother and self-described restaurant idiot savant who embarks on a journey of self-discovery involving the Romanian mob, a Buddhist rainstorm, a teenage daughter, shoes and a few very bad dates.

The show was written by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Michael Ricci. Bad Dates stars Devon Kasper.

Click here to attend the event virtually. After donations are made, participants will receive a link to the show 48 hours before it begins. After the show, there will be a post-broadcast talk-back via Zoom with Ricci and Kasper.

This event is made possible by Partnership for Community Action, Ark Valley Equity Network and the City of Salida Arts and Culture.
