December 4 Update:   Time for Zoom call has been updated below

The Chaffee County Writers Exchange (CCWE) is sponsoring a “WE Write” writing seminar on the topic of “Rewriting History”. The event will be held via Zoom from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30-ish p.m., on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. The event is open to the public and free.

The session will be led by Jean Gabardi and Cam Torrens. The writing exercises for this WE Write event are intended to get everyone’s creative juices flowing.

Jean Gabardi is currently president of CCWE and is a published author with co-author Judilee Butler. Their latest book, “The Last Slide”, a Phoebe Korneal Mystery, joins “The Last Hurrah”, the first book in this series. Torrens is CCWE vice president and is finishing work on the second volume in his own series of suspense novels with a decidedly local flavor.

The monthly WE Write sessions are always an exercise in creative writing. Exercises are based on Natalie Goldberg’s method for writing freely and spontaneously. The Chaffee County Writers Exchange fosters writing and encourages publication through the sharing of resources and information.

Register ahead of the session at:   jeangabardi@gmail.com to get your Zoom link to the meeting. Bring paper and pen or a laptop to the meeting, along with anything else that makes you comfortable in your writing space!
