It’s a full weekend for Spartan Arts and Athletics at Salida High School and Salida School administration is asking athletes, thespians, and event attendees to plan extra time for parking.
This coming weekend features the SHS Spring Musical and the SHA Boys Basketball tournament. On March 3 and 4 there will be performances of the school musical “The Pajama Game” and the SHS Boys Basketball team is hosting the regional round of the Boys Basketball State Tournament.

Parking Notes
In addition to the parking lots in front of the high school, parking is also available north of the building by the football field off of New Street, at the CMC campus at the Kesner Building on State Street, in front of and behind the Salida Middle School and at 720 US-50 (the former Wallbangers restaurant – soon to be Amicas BBQ).
Only on Friday after 2:00 p.m. parking is also available at Romeo’s Pancakes. Do not use the Romeo’s Pancakes parking lot for SHS activities on Saturday as their parking will be needed for their customers.
If you are not able to find parking in one of these lots, try to park on the street adjacent to one of the school campuses (SHS, SMS, Early Childhood Center) and avoid parking in front of homes.
Salida School Administration says the administration and the student body are enthusiastic about hosting the events featuring talented Spartans, on the stage and on the court.
