A rally event called “We’re Speaking Up!” is set to take place beginning at 1:15 p.m. Sat. Oct. 2 beginning in Alpine Park at the corner of 4th and F St. and proceeding to Riverside Park.

Described as a peaceful demonstration, the march has been organized in support of women’s reproductive rights, ending violence against women, civil rights, immigrant rights, and disability rights, among many other concerns.
