The Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce hosts a Community Coffee on the first Wednesday of every month to unite residents and businesses.

Residents and members are invited to join from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2 in the Pinon Room at the Buena Vista Community Center (715 East Main Street). The meeting is free and open to the public.

According to the Chamber’s website, “Community Coffee provides an opportunity to be deeply connected, with a larger sense of community and the shared goal of bettering the place we all live, work, and play. Our community leaders will provide us with an update on the most current issues and challenges facing our businesses and our community. We believe this is a chance to explore issues, create solutions and gain greater understanding.”

The event is moderated by Chamber leadership. Attendees can expect to hear from various elected and business leaders.

The Community Coffee event was first launched in October 2022. The ongoing goal of the meetings is to bridge the gap between leaders and residents by creating a space to connect and begin conversations.
