The Buena Vista Board of Education will discuss the name of the Industrial Arts Building and hear a presentation with Buena Vista PEAKS at their regular meeting on Monday, March 28. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the District Administration Building, 113 North Court Street. BV PEAKS (Partners Engaged Around Kids’ Success) works to support community involvement in the district and often works with the District Accountability Committee (DAC).
The board will also hear updates from the user groups interested in Chaffee County High School’s future at the Sprung Building, as well as policy updates and discussions. Superintendent Lisa Yates will also continue with the district’s Monday Minute calls, held on Zoom at 5:00 p.m. each Monday.
