The Ark-Valley Humane Society will host their Cause for the Paws Radio Auction from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 27. The benefit supports the humane society. Cause for the Paws is Ark-Valley Humane Society’s largest event of the year, raising crucial funds for the more than 1,000 animals it helps each year.
This year they will be auctioning off gift baskets and other goodies on-air with Heart of the Rockies Radio.
During the radio auction, many items from local businesses will be available to bid on, and various AVHS staff members will provide updates on some of the shelter happenings and new community programs.
“We are excited to celebrate our biggest fundraising event of the year with you in a COVID- safe manner this Fall!” said Executive Director, Amber Van Leuken.
