Chaffee County Early Childhood Council (CCECC) has announced the launch of its Emerging Early Childhood Educators Program. This program was created in collaborative partnerships with Colorado Mountain College, Chaffee County, and the Chaffee County Community Foundation.

The program’s purpose is to identify and prepare those who are interested in beginning a career in Early Childhood Education.
The program requires a year-long commitment to engaging in college coursework, coaching, career navigation, reflective practice, and practical work experience opportunities in any of CCECC’s participating early childhood centers.
According to the CCECC, a cohort of 10 participants will be selected for year one of the program, beginning in the fall semester of 2024.
