The Chaffee Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) will meet in regular session at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5 in the Commissioners’ Meeting room at 104 Crestone Avenue, Salida.

There are only a few regular agenda items. The BoCC will consider a request to abate taxes from Outlots 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Two Rivers Subdivision, c/oTwo Rivers, by the Community Association for the years 2021 and 2022.

The public hearing to consider Land Use Code Text Amendments from Module 2 of the Land Use Code Rewrite Project – Chapters 4, 5, 6, & 7 will again be continued. (It has been continued several times — from September 5, October 10, and November 7, 2023)

The BoCC will discuss authorizing the county attorney’s office to file enforcement action for zoning violations at 12765 CR 314, Buena Vista, Colorado, and at 29635CR 357, Buena Vista.

A contract for engagement of Dynamic Program Management for owner’s representative services for the Chaffee County North End Public Safety Complex construction project will be reviewed by the BoCC.

The hearing consent agenda, which includes items for which no testimony is expected, had only one item on it. The
project, the Holman Agricultural Subdivision Exemption at 14110 CR140, is a request by applicants Frank and Sherry Holman to subdivide a rural 4.24-acre Tract 2-B from Tract 2-A (39.35 acres). A well and on-site wastewater are on site.

Two liquor license renewals are on the public hearing consent agenda; for Noah and Yousaf LLC, DBA Centerville Pit Stop, at 17900 Hwy 285, Nathrop, and for Trigger’s Liquors, LLC, at 22763 West Hwy 50, Salida.
