The Chaffee Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) will meet for a work session beginning at 9:30 a.m. Mondy, November 6. They will begin with an executive session under § 24-6-402(4)(b) for purposes of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions involving the county’s land use code process.
Following the executive session, they will go into their public meeting, beginning with an update by the Southwest Conservation Corps Chaffee County High School Youth Crew, then will move on to considera request from the Chaffee Housing Trust for Support Letter(s) and Permit Fee Waivers in 2024, presented by Read McCullough
Completing their morning schedule, they will discuss and consider the county’s 2024 Holiday Schedule, then discuss the 2024 BoCC public meeting schedule.
At 1:15 p.m., the BoCC will reconvene for a Land Management Agencies Stakeholder Meeting, followed by a Congressional Leadership Update at 2:15 p.m.
Next on their agenda is a presentation by the Chaffee Housing Authority (CHA) for its 2024 CHA Budget overview, including a discussion on the 2024 Funding Agreement from the Lodging Tax Allocation Fund.
At 3:00 p.m., the BoCC has scheduled a joint work session with the Chaffee Planning Commission on the topic of accessory dwelling unit workforce housing density exemptions.
