The Chaffee County Democrats have scheduled a meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, at the Salida Methodist Church, 228 East 4th Street, Salida.

Cheryl Brown-Kovacic will share a presentation from the nonprofit “Places to Age”. The goal of this organization is to work with community partners to bring assisted living options to Chaffee County.
Also to be discussed during the meeting: the upcoming election including school board races in the county, the statewide ballot questions Proposition HH and II and Salida Ballot Question 300.
If time permits, the Chaffee County Clerk and Recorder Lori Mitchell will drop by.
