The organization known as Chaffee County Women Who Care will hold its next meeting beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11. The meeting will be held at The Cornerstone Church, located at 205 San Juan Ave. in Buena Vista.
Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October. The meeting location alternates between Buena Vista and Salida. The normal schedule is a 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Networking/Social Time, followed by a meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The organization describes its mission as “We provide a means by which women in our county can combine their giving to allow for more sizable impact gifts to nonprofit organizations, inclusive of faith-based organizations and governmental agencies, working to meet needs and enhance the quality of life for all in Chaffee County.
