As we move into this busy election year, the Chaffee County Democrats are setting the dates for upcoming events.
The Democratic Caucus will be held on beginning at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9 (doors open at 12:00 noon) at the Salida Middle School. Click here to register. The caucus agenda includes the nominations of the party’s county commissioner candidates.
Upcoming this Saturday, February 17 is a major party fundraiser to support the party’s county commissioner candidates Gina Lucrezi and David Armstrong. The event is set for 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Salida Scout Hut.
Representative Brittany Pettersen, Colorado Speaker of the House Julie McCluskie, and the Honorable Ed Perlmutter will be attending this event. General admission tickets for this event are $50. On February 22, the CC Dems monthly meeting will be held at the Salida Scout Hut in Salida beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dan Bishop will be on hand to discuss Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it might affect politics in the future.
