Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is sponsoring and hosting educational booths at the 2024 International Sportsmen’s Exposition (Expo). The expo runs from January 11 to January 14. Visitors will get the chance to learn about hunting info, resources, articles, and more.

Attendees will see more than 500 companies fill two large halls with outdoor camping, off-roading, fishing, and hunting gear. They will also get the opportunity to hear outdoor experts give presentations.

Adult tickets cost $16. Those under the age of 15 may enter at no charge. Active military can receive tickets for free with a valid military identification (Mil ID). VETTIX.org will offer passes to veterans beginning 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 9.

Some CPW featured exhibits include:

  • A stocked fishing tank that allows kids to catch and release fish. Equipment, bait, and helpers will be provided.
  • A boating safety booth with information on the importance of life jackets, the classes offered, and a boating simulator. Kids will also be able to color their own tee shirt or tote.
  • Invasive species displays which feature the “Whack-A-Mussel” game and information about preventing the spread of invasive species.
  • A fish hatchery trailer with information on how hatchery technicians produce over 90 million fish annually and how they stock them back into Colorado waters.
  • A CPW info booth will have officers and staff who can answer questions and provide brochures and other materials, including information about new hunting changes and the Colorado Wolf Restoration.

The Expo will take place at the Colorado Convention Center, Halls E-F (700 14th Street, Denver).

The hours for the exposition are:

12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11
12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 12
10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 14
