Eugene J. Diodato was born in Bronxville, New York on July 25, 1935, the second child of Rose and Eugene Diodato Sr. An early love of light and nature undisturbed by man’s doings has existed throughout his life.

As a young boy, he would ride his bicycle to places in the woods and camp overnight with few provisions.

He loved to go canoeing and gladly bore the consequences of numerous school detentions resulting from these excursions. Going out to the natural places of beauty, solitude, and seclusion, Gene stated, “have been my way of touching home”. His artwork focuses on the outdoors of the Upper Arkansas Valley near Salida.

Live music will be provided by guitar player/singer Bobby Gulley, who plays everything from the 50’s to now and covers a wide range of genres.

Recently retired from a career playing in the Army Field Band, Bobby’s past performances include touring in 32 countries playing for organizations like the NFL, NBA, MLB, WWE, and Van’s Warped Tour. Bobby has shared the stage with musical artists including Wayne Newton, Neil McCoy, Chris Isaac, Rhianna, and many more.

Those with local creative endeavors are invited to step up on the “soap box”, and share their news. A cash bar will be available.
