Beginning this Friday, June 23, a production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” from High Country Fine Arts Association will be live on stage at the Buena Vista High School Auditorium. Put on by singers, dancers, and actors from throughout the Arkansas Valley and beyond, this action-packed show is bound to be fun for the entire family.
Evening and matinee showtimes are available. Tickets run $5 for students and $15 for adults and can be purchased online here. Some of HCFAA’s regular dancers (Chris Tanner, Kristina Tanner, and Dani Christophersen) are leads in the show.

HCFAA provides a live theater experience for any interested person in Chaffee County, either as a participant or as a viewer.
Their mission focuses on educating adults and children in all aspects of theater, on and off stage, and help them experience the joy of collaboratively and creatively working together to stage productions for all in the community to enjoy.
I am shocked, SHOCKED I SAY, that this DISNEY play, which promotes and glorifies bestiality, is to be staged at our local high school! Will no one stand up to protect our kids from these dangerous and perverted ideas that spring from the liberal ideology? Where is a patriot when you really need one?
